“You are this beautiful thing I want to destroy.”
That’s the only memory he carries from a childhood he does not remember. And now it is all he knows. Blood is his life.

Knox Bishop has done a lot of horrible things, all at the command of the man who holds his leash. It’s a matter of loyalty for him. Allegiance to the man who saved his life when he was a child. So he goes where he is needed and does what he is told. He tortures. He kills. He kills. He tortures. It is an unrelenting cycle that he constantly craves and can never quite satisfy.

Until her.

Eighteen year old Lacey Barnes distributes her assets to fund her dreams. Medical school is the end game and she is determined to get there by any means necessary. But a family member’s careless mistake derails her plans and now she must pay a price in order to save him.

She goes to Knox willingly offering him the only valuable thing she has. Herself. In doing so he allows her into his world, a world she quickly realizes is void of any light and hope for escape is utterly elusive. But escape is something she finds that she no longer wants.

“He lays a path of pleasure laced agony for me to follow and I do. Stupidly I follow him down the blinding darkness of his euphoric hell.”

Accidental Gold digger.

Circumstance forced Eden Mercer to sell herself to Dominic Armstrong for half a million dollars and in return she is to play the dutiful wife in public and submit to him completely behind closed doors.

The Tyrant.

Dominic is Ruthless, manipulative and sadistic but Eden is determined not to break under his cruelty. But how does one persevere when in the clutches of a Monster?

“In this pregnant silence, with nothing in the air but the echoes of our spent passion fusing with the sweet scent of summer night, I feel foolish for loving you. The absurdity of it is a blow right between to my battered heart. A concubine in love with her king.”

He rescued her from a fate worse than death and claimed her as his own. In the vast Norian palace, she is made concubine, one of many and is taught how to please the mighty Norian king. She knows she must keep her heart guarded, but how can she when his very touch sustains her soul? When a simple kiss from his lips evokes a burning desire that threatens to burn her alive? He is everything to her, but in her shadowed affections, bound as she is to him, she has little choice but to share him the countless women in his life.

In her shadowed affections, bound as she is to him, her heart burns every time she must share him with the many women in his life.

Many would think that being adopted into the one of the world’s wealthiest families would have made things easier for Sophie Holbrook-Grayson. But wealth and privilege cannot erase the deep-seated scars etched on her soul. Haunted by the horrifying events of her childhood, Sophie’s life begins to spiral out of control leading her down a path of self-destruction that she doesn’t know how to escape from. When she meets Roan Westport again—her one time almost step brother her world comes a screeching halt and she is startled to realize how attracted she is to him. Sophie proposes sex, but Roan wants something far more valuable.

Roan Westport didn’t even realize he was going through the motions, barely living until he met Sophie again. The chemistry between them is undeniably intense, but there are far deeper issues at play then Sophie lets on and the closer he gets to her the further away she pushes him. When Roan finally sees the extent of Sophie’s scars, will he be strong enough to stay and help her or is Sophie far too gone to ever be loved?

They created the game but eighteen year old Nicholas Grayson mastered the rules.

They are young and entitled and utterly bored with their lives, so they play games to entertain themselves. They call it the “bet” and new girl Ellie Holbrook is their latest target. Ellie is not the kind of girl Nicholas dates, but she is pretty enough to be his next conquest and so he sets out to seduce her and claim a nice little prize at the end. But her seduction proves difficult when she openly rejects his advances. In his dogged pursuit of her he slowly finds himself in her small circle of trusted friends and meets her two year old daughter, Sophie.

Life takes a startling turn for Nicholas when he realizes his happiness now lies with the young mother and her daughter. Falling in love with Ellie isn’t something Nicholas ever thought could happen to him and he’s completely frightened at how fiercely she makes him feel. But before he can further examine those emotions and clearly process them, enemies from Nicholas’s personal circle of friends conspire to tear them apart and he must now decide whether their love is worth saving or allow his friends to take away the greatest thing that’s ever happened to him.

  1. Hi Francette! I loved Beautiful Disaster and eagerly await Redemption. Wish it were out sooner but alas it will be a belated birthday present for me on Dec. 23. I wanted to know if the book would be available at both Barnes and Noble and Amazon on the same date? I’m a dedicated nook owner and hate having to wait until after it’s already been released on Amazon to purchase a book.

    • Hey JTL, thanks so much for reading Beautiful Disaster! I want to put it out sooner also, but it’s getting edited so I’m just waiting on my editor to finish up with it. Soon as she’s done, I’ll upload it to both Barnes and Noble and Amazon on the same day. I own a Nook too, so that’s where I post first! lol. I’ll try to keep you guys updated! Thanks again for your support!

  2. Loved both books. I’m glad I found them both at the same time, so I didn’t have to suffer and wait to find out what happens next, lol… Keep writing! You’re officially on my auto-buy list!

  3. It is said that ” Good writing is clear thinking made visible” I must say that with both your books. That is indeed the truth. Beautiful Disater and Redemption 2 books purely weaved by a master story teller IMHO. It was well done. Touched every level of human emtion. Ranging from hate to love. And the vast wasteland in between. I cried, laughed was mad and turned off. Ahh the pictures u painted most vivid. I was truly enthralled an invested in Nicholas and Elle’s life. THIER youth while it cold have been, hard to believe such love exisisted in one so young. Well u made it so as I did not question that it indeed deep and true. And u did this with very little erotica….. WONDERFUL job! Cant wait to see what u offer us next! U have now effectively set a very HIGH standard for yourself! HAPPY NEW YEAR!! 🙂 An avid new Fan, Lisa J.

    • Thank you very much! Writing both books was a journey that I’m glad I was able to take. It was difficult putting these two characters through all that but in the end I wanted them to have their happiness. Nicholas and Ellie are both very flawed, but that’s what makes them great for each other.

  4. Loved both books! Glad to see the flawed hero/heroine get there HEA! Can’t wait to read future books. Please add me to your mailing list so I’m informed.

  5. OMG… I love your books I’m a big fan of your work.. Your new book Undone….lets just say wow I will never be the same again…I’m hurting for them… I hope to read more of your books…

  6. Hey,

I usually don’t respond to negative feedback. But I just wanted to reply and say that I’m sincerely sorry this book made you unhappy. But If you’d read the summary you would’ve also known that nowhere does it mention Nicholas and Ellie. They had their story. This was about Sophie and roan. I understand the ending was heartbreaking but it was a story that needed to be told. Not everything needs an HEA. But thanks for reading anyway.

  7. Hello Franniephal, I just brought two copies of “Monster” in paperback on Amazon. Thank you very much. Bain( L. Higgins)

  8. Hello,

I purchased all 4 of your books on Amazon yesterday. My original intent was to start with “Monster” first but ended up reading “Undone” based on the reviews. This was definitely not your run of the mill romance novel. Would I have loved for Sophie to finally discover her HEA after all of the pain she experienced in her short life? Hell, yes! But it was not meant to be. I have never read a book where the main characters have found their soul mates only to have fate intercede in the worst possible way. What an emotional read! I fell in love with the characters and had my heart broken at the same time. Are you planning on continuing Roan’s story? I really enjoyed “Undone” and you may count me as one of your fans.

  9. I read Beautiful Disaster and Redemption and OMG! I am so totally in love with Nicholas! He’s masterfully flawed and earth shattering sexy. Ellie was perfect for him. Keep up the good work Ms. Phal. Great body of work!

  10. Hi Mrs Phal I have to say The Bet series has to be in my top 3 of books that I have read so far the year The story lines of book 1 &2 I found at times made me laugh, get angry sometimes in the complex relationship of Nicholas & Ellie, so glad to see that they were able to over their obstacles and be reunited years later, must say thou Nicholas is know damn joke when its comes to Ellie and their kids he goes damn well loco, book three wow made you shed tears for Sophia their daughter in what she was going through in her life , as well as the end result was in absolute shock. .I truly hope that you will continue this series cause personally I can not not get enough of Nicholas & Ellie story

  11. Hi Frannie! I read Monster than discovered bet series. Omg! You are an amazing author. I fell in love with the characters and couldn’t put it down till I devoured the complete series. All the books flowed in such a way that I was empathetic for male characters but understood why female characters were leary of them. Thank you so much for your works. I can’t wait for your next title.
